  • Old-Skeet: Thank you.
  • @hank: I could handle ICMAX before HSGFX. Speaking of which, has anyone heard what Eric Cinnamond is doing these days?
  • Looking at the chart for HSGFX, why hasn't it liquidated?

    @dryflower , I don't think I've seen you post in a while. Welcome back!

    Thanks. I've been around, but just lurking I guess.

    Thanks for commenting on ...

    ... just one of my typical smart a** remarks. I owned HSGFX years ago. And don’t understand how it’s survived either. But will say I think he’s going to finally have a good year ... or maybe a couple. But that’s just based on my view of equities and the entire macro climate - not any misplaced confidence in Hussman.

    I can’t name a “favorite fund”. Of the houses I deal with, T. Rowe Price leads the pack. Plenty of smarts there - and not limited to a particular fund. Pervades the whole organization. To be sure, there are lower cost alternatives.

    I sleep very well with a foot in OAKBX and PRPFX. Part of that is that I leave these ones alone, not trading in and out. So they’re very long term holds and I don’t fret about them. But, heck, I could probably learn to sleep well with most of the funds mentioned in this thread.

    No - I haven’t heard about Eric Cinnamond.
  • Not sure what he is doing now, but you can find his views on markets here http://www.ericcinnamond.com/
