IIRC, I have become more libertarian over time. Might be because I don't feel "strongly" about too many things. As good old Oliver Cromwell used to say:

I don’t know if anybody else does the free annual Medicare “Wellness Visit” for folks over a certain age. Mostly, they try and determine whether your mind is still lucid. Counting down backwards in 7s is one I recall recently. I passed a year ago, but not looking forward to the next.
These questions were very subjective. I did not strongly agree or disagree with quite a few. My best fit was "Establishment Liberal." After reading the typology descriptions, it seems that a combination of "Outsider Left" and "Establishment Liberal" fits me best. FWIW, I really dislike the Liberal label and find it to be pejorative.

Well … What services? Port facilities for the super rich to park their yachts? World class golf courses for them to play at?
Or, how about more public parks and beaches for the larger public? More and better equipped public safety personnel? Better roads and bridges? Better mass-transit? Rehab programs and support for the addicted? Kripes, the subways in NYC resemble something from the Medieval ages. Steps, steps and more steps. Anybody over 50 that can handle them is fortunate and in great shape.

The left-right spectrum descends from seating arrangements in the French National Assembly after their revolution. I have never liked it. Never thought it was useful for discussions in our chunk of North America. Seems to be most useful as a source for disparaging labels for people that disagree about politics; often enough, disparaging people joined in the same political party that aren't following some particular line.
