I worked in hospital pharmacy for over 30 years and the one thing biotech pharma worries about is payment from the insurance companies for the treatments. Some of these drugs run in the five figure cost per treatment compared to cheaper drugs used for the same diagnosis and obviously less expensive. In most cases, prior approval is required before administration.
