European Debt Crisis: Visualized

Comments

A proper followup to Ted's very nice link.

I recall I first posted this at FundAlarm. But, worthy of a re-do; as troubles are still in place.
Two minutes and 25 seconds of excellent video summary.

Clarke and Dawe, European Debt Crisis, July, 2010 Two years before fun days in Cyprus.

Lastly, someone wasn't watching or didn't care..... debt limit policy

A tremendous amount of national pride exists among these individual countries, as excpected. Gonna be a long, long time for any real bond of monetary and/or fiscal policy, IMO. The nationalism aspect is a separate item from what legal status(es) really exist between the ECB and member states. I do believe this area will walk with a limp for many years as technology and globalization continue to place pressure into these societies.

    Take care,
