The Closing Bell: S&P 500 Closes Above 2000 For First Time

edited August 2014 in The Bullpen
FYI: U.S. stocks rose Tuesday, fueled by merger news and positive economic data on consumer confidence.
The S&P 500 rose four points, or 0.2%, to 2002; a close above 2000 would be a first for the index.
