One of the side stories in Asia is the new alliance between Japan and India as they get together to go against China and Russia. Both countries a ramping up their military and Japan recently changed their military stays from self defense to a proactive military like the rest of the world. The Self Defense forces were a mandate of WW2 that Japan would never arm itself. That has evolved over the decades up to now.
