Fama: Active Management A Bad Bet

FYI: Nobel Prize winner cites lower costs and questions about active manager skill as reasons to stick with index funds. Let's all have another pitcher of Kool Aid !

  • It was indeed a charming interview, which we were all very happy to witness.

    Especially, when he relayed the experience leading up to and receiving the medal in Sweden.

    Just great.

    But I suspect Prof Snowball, being the clear and independent thinker he is, will have a somewhat different take on Prof Fama's postulation.
