El Erian "surprised" regarding manner of Gross exit

This is bullshit. One statement saying he is surprised, without offering anything else. What about the rest of the world? They were not surprised? Then he is "not surprised" regarding Ivascyn. What exactly does this mean? People can see what Ivascyn has done already.

Am i the only one that thinks this is employer Allianz mouthpiecing support for Ivascyn through El Erian? This has nothing to do about Ivascyn being good or not. This is about purified bovine waste stinking up an already putrid financial press. Just one more attempt to get an "endorsement" from Ivascyn from El Erian.

There is no evidence El Erian did ANYTHING substantial at PIMCO. Ivascyn has his own accolades at PONDX and M*. At this point the more articles supporting Ivascyn come out in the press, it will actually diminish his "brand". Leave him alone and give him time. that's the best way. Ivascyn does not need El Erian's endorsement in the first place.

And oh yes, if you want Ivascyn to truly replace Gross, then put him on manager of the flagship PTTRX. Right now the managers of PTTRX are those who "Gross relied on us". Huh? Portfolio managers always rely on assistants. If that was equivalent, why all the hoopla?
