Why Bill Gross Went To An Unconstrained Bond Fund

FYI: Recent headlines made a big deal of the fact that star mutual fund manager Bill Gross was taking the reins of an unconstrained bond fund at Janus Capital — Janus Global Unconstrained Bond — after his departure from Pimco.
Gross — who ran such a fund at Pimco as well as his better-known Total Return — in a way was making the same move as many investors industrywide, who have shifted their assets to unconstrained bond funds in recent years.
