FYI: Invesco increased the size of the alternative mutual fund universe by two on October 14 when it launched the Invesco Unconstrained Bond Fund (IUBAX) and the Invesco Alternative Strategies Fund (LQLAX). The former capitalizes on the increasing interest in “go anywhere” bond funds, due in part to the anticipated rise in interest rates; and the latter is a multi-alternative fund investing across multiple asset classes, offering a range of alternative strategies within a single fund.
