Hong Kong-Shanghai link opens Nov. 17

Changes coming, mostly for the better. I suspect this will affect funds investing in that region.

  • I saw that. Some good information there. Do you think we will see a gap up or is it already baked in? Shanghai has had a good year so far.
  • John,

Hmmmmm, ya; like all of this, eh; I suspect some upward moves are already in place. One has to wonder whether the Nov. 17 transistion will be of any value to changing equity values. It should not, IMO. But, we know markets and money flows do strange things not always based "the right reasons".
Not unlike any other investment, one has to use their own criteria for any given area and their time frame. China is at least as stable as many other country sectors globally, IMO; and I have had this area in my review radar.
Hey, I need more coffee.........too many things on the list today that are not investment related.
