One Trader's Current Take on the Market ...

"Of the 449 companies in the S&P 500 that have reported third-quarter results, 74.6 percent have posted earnings above estimates, while 59.3 percent beat revenue expectations."

"With the overbought conditions in place it is difficult to see a straight up move from here without a little more time."

In my research, I am finding that the three best performing sectors of the S&P 500 Index for the past five days have been the energy, the materials and the utility sectors. I have linked the reference site below that details this information, click on the five day period to view.
