Mutual Funds: Why Shareholders Still Love Them

FYI: When a New York newspaper confused American humorist Mark Twain with a cousin who was seriously ill in London, Twain famously informed the New York Journal, "The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated."

Now, more than a century later, the mutual fund industry could protest that it too has been buried before its time is up.
