Jason Zweig: ' Juicing’ Stock Returns—And Getting Squeezed

FYI:A study co -written by Lawrence Harris, a finance professor at the University of Southern California and former chief economist at the Securities and Exchange Commission, finds that more than an eighth of all U.S. stock funds that pay annual dividends of at least 0.5% of their share price may have significantly inflated their income in at least one year. That would be about 300 funds.
