FYI: It’s the time of year when people are feeling generous and charitable with their money, have resolve to improve their finances and have dropped their guard when it comes to protecting their money.
For the investment world’s bad actors, that represents a completely refreshed bumper crop of suckers.

You may not consider yourself a chump or a patsy, but most victims of financial fraud feel that way, right up to the point where they are forced to acknowledge hard truths about what has happened to them. If you don’t want to be a sap, however, you have to recognize the threats so that you can avoid them.
