DAILYALTS: With $6.4 Billion In Assets, Gotham Funds Ups The Ante

FYI: Keeping it simple has worked well for Gotham Funds. Having launched its first mutual fund in August 2012, the firm now manages more than $6.4 billion of assets across five funds – and unlike other mutual fund shops, Gotham only offers one share class of each fund, charges a management fee of 2% in each fund, has no 12b-1 fee, and imposes a $250,000 minimum initial investment for each fund. Furthermore, all five funds are co-managed by the same two people: Joel Greenblatt and Robert Goldstein.
