An Apocalyptic Fund Story

edited August 2015 in The Bullpen
Generally speaking, I'm sensing a little latent disgust on the Board with the financial landscape. It's August. It's boring. There doesn't seem to be much of anything intelligent to do. So, in keeping with a bit of a trend that started several days ago, let's not get into it so much with each other (although that can be fun)--- let's do some grousing about unexpected/disappointing MF performances. And maybe do a little digging to uncover, or speculate, what that's about. It could be cathartic, no?

I'll let Simon Lack of SL Advisors start things off. He seems to be, ummm, a little disgusted about a certain MLP investment and pulls no punches in suggesting, in so many words, that a certain CEF should have been killed at birth (if not sooner).
