Fine Print Can Reveal Not-Fine Fees

FYI: (Click On Article Title At Top Of Google Search)
Fine print makes for dreary—but essential—reading. This is doubly true in the world of finance, where opaque caveats buried deep in adjustable-rate mortgages or credit-card contracts can quickly part incurious consumers from their money.

The same applies to exchange-traded funds. The good news is that industry competition has pressured management fees almost universally lower in recent years. Or so it would appear.
