Sequoia Fund Sold All Of Its Valeant Pharmaceutical Stock

FYI: Investors in Sequoia Fund (SEQUX) have been through a lot over the past year.
One issue now over an done with: Valeant Pharmaceuticals International (VRX). The fund’s manager, Ruane, Cunniff & Goldfarb, told investors in a quarterly letter that the fund sold all of its Valeant shares by the middle of June. The fund company had disclosed that it has cut its stake to 16.1 million shares, or 4.7% of shares outstanding, in a filing with the SEC dated May 31, down down from 30.3 million shares at the end of March.
