Damn Lies and Statistics

edited August 2016 in The OT Bullpen
Hi Guys,

In most every decision statistics influence that decision. That's especially true when investing. Some rudimentary understanding of stats, how to manipulate them, and their limitations will improve investment outcomes.

There is a reference in the Wealth of Common Sense column today that directs a reader to one excellent and short introductory stats book. Give it a look/see:

http://awealthofcommonsense.com/2016/08/how-to-lie-with-fed-statistics/

There also are superior alternate texts that make stats learning more stimulating and relatively easy. Here is a Link to one such book that I recommend:

A small investment of time with this text will be very rewarding in areas that extend well beyond financial matters. Enjoy!

Best Regards.
