Seeking Alpha ... An Alternative Investment: Race Horses
An interesting article which details how a small investor can invest in the sport of kings ... race horses. Although, it might be for some, I think I'll go with the more traditional asset class route or just place my wager at the track book window. I have linked the article below for your reading pleasure.
Malaysian conglomerate Genting Group also bought out the Aqueduct Racetrack in Queens and made it into a racetrack/casino. They have also proposed a new convention center. Not much racing related, but a little bit racing and otherwise a global casino/resort play.
