Morgan Stanley On The Markets

TedTed
edited November 2016 in The Bullpen
FYI: Markets are similar
to sports teams in this way. When individual stocks or broad
asset
classes are viewed as losers, few people want to be associated with them. In fact,
many portfolio managers go to great lengths to remove losing positions from portfolios
before the end of the quarter so that their investor
s don’t realize they owned these
losers
—it’s called “window dressing.”

Ted
