Global X debuts GURU etf

edited June 2012 in Fund Discussions
So, an etf based upon the 13f filings of a group of hedge funds who may not still be actually holding the stocks in the filings? Additionally, I'm not seeing any examples in the prospectus as to which funds are focused on.

    More roulette games, eh; Scott?
All the new and "fancy" offerings in the past 2 years remind me of newly added sideshows every year at a traveling carnival.
Can't say that the hedge funds on average have much of a return record to the investors in 2011 or so far this year. I presume the fund managers are making some cool cash though.
  • There is an announced fund of publicly listed hedge funds that is supposed to be coming out from Global X - that fund I'm VERY interested in, but this fund seems like a flawed strategy - going on 13Fs, there's no way to know if the hedge fund still holds the stocks. Oh well.
