  • They should hang their head in shame and find another profession and do something useful with their lives to benefit society.

    Generally good advice for those who suck at their jobs. If you try to help people, you will only succeed. Well, mostly.
  • They could start by being honest and putting their clients' interests first. It will take a very long time, and there will still be those who rip off consumers by selling them inappropriate products and engaging in unethical practices. Get rid of their insurance licenses. Give every potential client a document that gives evidence of their fiduciary status, and tell the potential clients what that means and why it is important. That's just for starters.
