I do not know the circumstances of your position but my wife was claiming that my account was hacked because she was getting spam with my email displayed as "From" addresses.
The issue is spammers got hold of my email address (from other people who has their computers infected with email address collecting trojans) and that they were sending forged emails as if it was me. Examination of full email headers with "Received from" lines reveal the forgery.
I do not know if you are experiencing such a problem or a real hacking of your account.
