Is Australia headed to be next for a housing bubble?

  • As China's economy slows, it affects everyone else negatively including Australia and Canada that provide the natural resources needed. I would keep an eye on the situation and trim your position if the sign of "hard landing" is taken place in China. I am sure that Mr. Hasenstab is watching the situation closely as it evolves.

    I too have position is Templeton Global Total Return, TGTRX.
  • Canada also has its own mini housing boom that could be negatively effected from China slowdown as Canada is a major supplier of natural resources.
  • Probably extensions of 2008 from US left over. Housing in US are also not doing too well but could be bottoming out. I think we'll have sluggish world wide growth over the next 3-8 yrs
