The Closing Bell: Dow Dragged Lower By IBM’s Stock, But Broader Market Buoyed By Energy Sector

TedTed
edited April 2018 in The Bullpen
FYI: The Dow industrials on Wednesday afternoon edged lower in afternoon trade as IBM’s shares got walloped, however, energy, industrials and materials helped the broader market trade modestly higher.

Wall Street showed a muted reaction to the release of the Beige Book report, which underscored that activity remained at “a modest to moderate pace” in March and early April.

Ted
