BlackRock Buys Half Of An Insurer's MFs: Eight State Farm Mutual Funds

FYI: The world's largest asset manager is swallowing half of an
insurer's mutual fund lineup.
Eight State Farm [profile] mutual funds will merge into
BlackRock [profile] funds, pending shareholder approval,
regulatory filings confirm. There will be a special shareholder
meeting on September 14 to discuss the proposed mergers. Fund
Action reported on the planned mergers.
