Three Things of Investment Interest ... Thursday August 30, 2018 ... Barometer Part 3

edited August 2018 in The OT Bullpen
There was no post made yesterday as my wife and I are traveling for holiday. I'll try to continue more about the barometer on Friday with an update being posted sometime over the weekend.

The three things of investment interest for today follow. First, is an article about the stock market grinding to a halt with concerns about China. The second is an article about the ramen noodles savings plan. And, the third thing is about the third major feed found in Old_Skeet's market barometer.

3) The third feed found in Old_Skeet's market barometer is the technical score feed. Currently, I'm using the money flow index (MFI). Naturally, this feed has to be scored as the others have for it to be used. This scoring system although simple is one of the key elements of the barometer in producing its overall reading. More on the Money Flow Index is linked below.

In the next posting I'll write about a few of the minor inputs used.
