edited October 2018 in The OT Bullpen
Micheal Kitces comments on this study (click here - Vanguard Study) and tries to point out that Healthcare costs in retirement are just another monthly/annual cost that can be budgeted for much like food, clothing and shelter. He further points out that the media's recent hype of lump sum Healthcare cost numbers ($280K for a couple) are misrepresented (over sensationalized) since, in reality, healthcare costs are spread out over a retiree's retirement lifetime and managed on a monthly basis like any other monthly bill.
