FOMC Adds Yet More QE (iQE2)

iQE = a more consumer-friendly name for QE Infinity.

    Did you expect anything new. The twist operation was finishing so the $45B replaces the twist portion.

    Considering they just decided the open eded QE a few months ago, this is nothing new on that front.

    On the other hand, they now specified the conditions that they would stop this stimulative monetary policy (unemployment at $6.5 or lower or inflation a 2.5% yoy). I think that is more significant and important to note.
