U.S.-Stock Funds Rose 13% But Bonds Draw Cash

FYI: Everyone’s waiting for this stock market to finally tire out, but the first quarter was the latest example of the market saying, “Not yet.”

The average U.S.-stock fund had a total return of 13.3% in the first quarter, according to Thomson Reuters Lipper data. International-stock funds did nearly as well, on average, with a 10.8% total return.
