Appointed Trustee of a Trust question

Evening,
I know a family that has a succession list of trustees for a trust. At some time into the future; there will be those who may or may not be up to speed to perform the duties. I can only presume that they have a list of duties, as well as what is or is not legally allowed.

However, for today; I am intrigued by the list of duties in this short article in the link. In particular, is that the law firm presenting the write is in California.
--- 1. for those with any experience in this area, are the items in the list only applicable in law for California; or are the items common in all or most states???

Trustee of a trust, 9 do's and 1 don't
