  • The picture is skewed as American designed products that are manufactured in China is counted as Chinese export. So, iPhone, iPad, other Dell products, Cisco, IBM, HP, Dell, various household appliances, even parts of cars, air-planes sold by us companies are in this figure. Essentially, these are US trade reclassified as Chineese. If the US company were not successful this trade volume would not exist.
