    And there are those who don’t believe global warming. In just the last 10 year, the western states are considerably drier.

    The upcoming fire season may be very destructive in the West because of the dry conditions.
    Due to climate change, less precipitation is forecast in many western/southwestern U.S. areas in the coming decades. Water rights will become an extremely contentious issue causing many disputes.
