    Hmm ... I suspect he means 2008, when the S&P dropped 37% (and the average domestic equity mutual fund lost 40%). Actually, 2009 was a good year with the S&P up 26.46%.

    TED,Why include Cyprus in your headline comment when the article has absolutely no connotation to what is or may possibly be happening in Cyprus? The story you linked to was written well before the ongoing drama/comedy? presently unfolding .If you want to comment or post a link concerning Cyprus and/or express your opinion concerning that particular subject their are several threads available.
