How does someone begin a mutual fund? What are the rules & requirements? Who doublechecks the accuracy of the daily ups and downs of the NAV & holdings and how often? Are there more mutual funds than stocks?
Dear noeld: You will need at least a million dollars to start a mutual fund. There are more mutual funds than stocks, about 9,000 funds and 8,700 stocks regards, Ted
