    Watergate/Washington Post had their "DeepThroat" and I was going to write previous about a lady (I'll name her, DeepPockets) in her 9th decade of life who has contacts and noted to me about 18 months ago that another major portion of the "FED" plan was to allow pension funds to attain at least a 90% recovery of their lost assets based on June, 2007; average values. After that, the FED would "see" how things were going.

    Now, I just made that story up from the blue sky; but, I suppose could be as relative as any other scenario, too.....:)

    And yup, the small fry trying to be safe and conservative with their monies (CD's, etc.)have taken things on the chin very hard.

  • Reply to @catch22: For now I am doing okay with our conservative allocation. Certainly the market volatility present some good trading opportunities.
