    The author is talking about Stock MutUAL funds? No...
    He is calling them "mutts". Utterly shameless.
    I'm sure he would claim he is saving newsprint.

    Reply to @Investor: Barrons has gotten worse over time. The content was getting smaller and the coverage on mutual funds was absolutely dismal. Several years ago I cancelled my subscription and read them at the local library instead. From what I saved I use them to support Fundalarm and MF Observer.
