Who knew? This is for 2011. It reminds me of Meredith Whitney. People like these make a successful prediction and attract much media attention than they probably should. She is pretty attractive woman as well, so that helps for TV as well.

  • Unfortunately Meredith Whitney was wrong, very wrong on muni marke. Muni bonds were one of the few asset classes with positive returns in 2011. Where is she today?

    As for TV, it is all about the "rating". Days before the tech bubble burst, Rick Santelli was yelling on the trading floor, "NASDAQ 5,000, how high is too high?". Fast forward 10 years later, NASDAQ has not come closed to 5,000.
