First Eagle Global Real Assets Fund in registration
Wow; First Eagle continues the AUM grab. Is this another instance of an asset manager riding the wave; or do they really think that longer-term this strategy has merit as a regular holding? Certainly they've said that their Global Fund (which I own) has the flexibility to invest in inflation-protection strategies.
Regardless, they could add something different than their peers if they actually invested in real assets.
