Hoisington Quarterly Review and Outlook

Different take on Treasuries. I think it was the beginning of 2011 that Roubini said the trade of the century would be to short treasury bonds. Had one the fortitude to invest in WHOSX at the beginning of 2011 the return would had been 41.2%. The fund tends to perform different than the equity market.

  • Wasatch Hoisington Fund is full of strips (coupon separated from long term treasury bonds to create 0-coupon bonds) It takes a lot of courage indeed.
