Friday's winning funds (check for stale data)

Scanned the long/short list at Morningstar. Invenomic shows a gain of 1.89% today (but is closed). Checked my personal watchlist and PIMCO Inflation-Response ticked up .42%, quite possibly a reflection of its gold holdings (?). Permanent Portfolio was up 0.16% which might support the gold speculation. Among market neutral funds, most were down a half percent or so. Miller Market Neutral Income was flat, Steward Equity Market Neutral was up .67%.

On any day when RiverPark Short-Term High Yield is down, I tend to become curious about who - other than net short funds - was up. The "stale data" flag is a reminder: I checked at 8:34 p.m. CST Friday so I expect that all of the Morningstar reports are fresh but did not take time to confirm.

IALT was up + .70% iShares Systematic Alternatives Active ETF.
ALLW +.67% Bridgewater All Weather ETF

LEOOX - was flat, just like its neutral buddy, MMNIX. Miller Market Neutral is a fund that I cannot seem to access, and LEOOX performs quite similarly.

APDPX +.54% Artisan Global Unconstrained was a nice surprise today

  • FSLEX, IYK, and FDAX were up in our accounts.

In the IRA's we're thankful for the funds that stayed in the black: THOPX, FEUGX, BBBIX, EILDX, and HSDIX that are held in varying amounts between our two IRAs.
