More coffee at table 2, please.
The updated link is a July, 2014 incident. Being a long time student of the madness and machines of World Wars, the photo in the new link is definitely not a WW2 Avenger.

I could even withdraw from the IRA and throw it in the brokerage "sweep" account.
Are you stating that you are considering withdrawing money from your IRA in order to open a "taxable" brokerage account to invest in single stocks; versus hav…
News Max article dated, Monday, 09 December 2019. HUH ??? Is the noted WSJ journal article of the same date?
@Derf I presume you're writing about 2019 RMD, as 2020 did not require a RMD via Cares Act.
Thank you again Lynn, for your tremendous efforts.
And I add these for and to you.

I recall jp morgan and other big banks forecasting treasury rates for the 10 year going to 5% in 2010-2012 (more or less). Nope, they didn't get that right.............
The big kids get fooled, too; with how smart they think they may be.
Thank you @carew388
I read David's write and posted just prior to traveling. I should have waited until returning home. I'll ponder the 65 years of history and markets as to how relative this is to the dynamic markets in which we play.
I recently found this data site, which presents data in a different visual form and with some different types of data, than other sites. This link is for a particular county in Michigan. You will see the Michigan county map on the right. Click the c…
Hi @bee and @hank
We've not held FRIFX for several years, but it remains an interesting holding within "its" real estate category.
The fund used to be a mix of equity, HY bonds, preferreds and convertibles.
I was writing more to the availability of very decent used furniture at a yard sale or a non-profit thrift store, as inter-state shipping costs are very expensive. I know several people who have moved from Michigan and decided it was best to not shi…
@hank
Not all yard sale items/non-profit stores are junk or bad; but folks become tired of whatever and other items they can not or do not want to ship to a new home location. Van line services are very expensive. Keep an eye to your area as soon as…
Hi @Old_Joe
Thank you for your memories and pics. I'm sure, like you; when I review some of the sites I've been/lives, it is hard to believe that damn, that was a long time ago already. These are the circumstances that help build a persons character…

Mesquite. I remember this, too; but, December, 1989. The story and short video are from 2019. We were frequent visitors to Keweenaw for many years. Time goes by too fast, eh???
Howdy @Mark
I forgot to note several accelerated etf offerings open, APRIL 1. Not that I have ever discovered anything twitchy with that particular date.

I suggest that most system changes and upgrades take place on non-business days. Generally, personal portfolio sites I use, that require a log-in, place a message of an outage/upgrade several days ahead of the event. I've never had such an event at …
I know of only two reactions from either vaccine with the first shot. With both cases, they had had Covid, but not to the point of having to be hospitalized. Both had a lot of muscle cramps, fever, headache and fatigue that lasted for 3-4 days. No l…
Our benchmark remains FBALX. Yes, a bit "hot" for many in retirement, as an investment. Though not invested in the fund in 2008, it took a big hit, too; as with many other 70/30% funds. We have been able to get close to the 15 year return of 8.48, w…
@Mav123 To your question: "Does anyone here invest in dividend-producing portfolios? "
Out of curiosity, I placed these 4 dividend oriented etf's against PRWCX.

I do not suggest any of the…

James Alpha Advisors, yes???
I may be wrong, but it appears these funds are offered through and using an advisor.
Do you hold these funds using an advisor??? Or did you have your own access previously without an advisor/broker?

I used the word "averaging" and found various posts, but did find comments from OS about dollar cost averaging back into 2018. I didn't proceed from that point as I don't know what exactly you are looking for. I didn't have to travel but about 5 pag…
@Derf
I didn't go through many pages, but; as you note, anywhere "dca" are combined letters, search will find that match.
What are you attempting to do searching these letters together?
DCA search finds the term properly when mentioned in threads for "Dollar Cost Averaging". The only other I find is for the word, Podcast; which has DCA letters together. I don't obtain any other trash combinations.
Oh, I missed this thread after replying to another thread about Bitcoin.
Here is a 13 minute video offering from 2018, one of many "Bitcoin for Dummies".
Hi @JonGaltIII
FBALX has been a solid performer for many years. We've been in and out of various bond funds over the years. Not to chase a yield UP for the sake of earning money from yield, but when yields are moving DOWN to obtain the price perfor…
