Check item 9, in this list.
The returns sure are not money market rates for the years indicated; ALSO I do believe the return data is misplaced in the form.......the 2011 return is not likely correct and could be the 1.67% amount show in the…
I used the more common SPY reference, versus the DJIA-30 and found the following for total return of SPY for these time frames:
---Jan. 20, 2017 to date, +17.2%
---Nov. 9, 2016 to date, +24.9%
Peak = Nov. 9, 2016 through Jan. 26, 2018 at +37.3%
Golly, the chat here kinda reminds me of a gathering at the "MFC" (Mutual Fund Cafe) and folks having a chat about what is driving some of their investment choices; all the while likely having some non-heart smart food and a beverage.
Stop it, @Old_Joe ; no fun or comic relief from the machinations emanating from DC-land will be tolerated at this forum. You may be subject to proper reconditioning of your social demeanor (please read the contract). Your investments, as well as the…

I'm still waiting for the Chinese "Trump" card.............all those U.S. Treasury holdings.
Now there's something that could get one "fired".

Ah, but tis all about total return on an investment, yes? A dividend or capital gain is the extra gravy.
MAPOX is performing pretty good, compared to similar funds.
Well, I have not posted for awhile; but just could not resist this one.
The writer does not indicate what benchmark is being used; so, I will presume the market common benchmark of the SP-500 is the reference.

Some may prefer a chart with a $10,000 baseline start point, as with the below M* graph for FSICX. I seldom use this, unless I'm at the page doing something else.

@davidrmoran
Correct. The chart performance is strictly total percentage return for a time period; from wherever the total arrives, being price performance, a yield/dividend or a short/long capital gain or loss.
