bee is close to what I was thinking. As access to higher education in the US decreases, educated foreigners with highly subsidized or less expensive higher educations may very well become the middle to higher middle class in the US.
Reply to @Old_Joe: Who lost money; who receives the fines? This seems to work for both Wall Street and government. Heck, they should make a bargain to skim a few cents off each worker each day and split the proceeds in court.
From the article: "Money managers touted the advantages of non-agency mortgage securities and bank loans on Thursday on expectations that housing prices will accelerate and interest rates will rise."
Both prices and rates will rise and what will wa…

If you ask me, the mortgage payment is more important than either the price or the rate when a person purchases a house. In a natural environment the price would fluctuate with rate and wage to maintain payments that are affordable to buyers. Yes, m…
Wrong category, who cares!!! Welcome home CathyG. I was thinking about you yesterday and here you are. What a nice coincidence.
I think you can move the post but I've never done it. Someone will be by in a while who does, I'm sure.

Good stuff. It's hard to argue with that even if you might want to. Would have liked to have seen Carbon sequestration and Advanced water purification have the certainty to go up the list a bit but maybe it leaves it open …

If part of the deal was to live in abject poverty on the sidewalks of New York or Minneapolis, OK. Otherwise, what is wrong with whoever made this bargain?

It is interesting that the more 'developed' countries become, the more cradle-to-grave goodies they provide their citizens.

I guess it's time to reduce the size of a $100 bill to postage stamp size. Or what does this look like in bitcoins? Maybe the Fed can shuffle those instead. Or wait, maybe they already do.

David, Thanks for keeping us informed. Comcast thanks you too since I never blame the website when I can blame Comcast instead. (Actually, I have been lucky and haven't had much problem accessing the site lately.)

Reply to @Ted: Yea, I've just lived with it since I have a good solution. Are you one of the ones that recently reported a problem? If so, are you saying that you no longer care if your particular situation is solved?
David, One other thing about my settings. I have IE 8 accessibility options set to "Ignore font sizes specified on webpages". Again, only when my text size (under the menu item view) is set to "Larger" or "Largest" does the problem appear. If I turn…
