@BaluBalu Yeah, they do a bit of catering to us since we have over $300 million just in the Quality fund.
My apologies for not recognizing who you are. I could not look up your member profile. Could you pl disclose either in this thread or via mess…
Those r the Quality returns if you strip out the int'l exposures. The US only strategy is a very new strategy, most clients just use the general Quality strategy. They are basically the exact same thing, for example, the 9/30 holdings for US only ar…
OK, just got info thru 9/30 (all vs S&P 500):

3Yr 18.5 vs 14.6
5Yr 15.5 vs 12.3
10Yr 14.8 vs 12.9
That is impressive.
Just to make sure I understood the above returns.

Mutual fund search tool is here - https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/trading/fundscanner.php#/
Under Fund Type they have 9 choices. Depending on how one reads the sequence of these choices (top to bottom or left to right), "Equity" is either se…
I have not been to a Schwab branch in more than a decade. I like to not have to interact with customer service at any brokerage but if something goes wrong, the customer service needs to be available and be competent and not just BS away. Many pos…
Have you guys looked into JSI? Janus Henderson Securitized Income ETF. I had to look up its chart to know that it is three day old.

From my quick use, IBKR research tool is a bit flimsy (non-existent?) for mutual funds. ( I wonder how good their research tools for other products are.). The $15 transaction fees mentioned earlier is for each leg.
Thanks, @msf. IBKR seems complicated relative to Fidelity where I have Govt MMF as my sweep account which usually has nearly zero balance because I buy into higher yielding MM fund. Fidelity takes care of selling those MM funds to settle my other …
Giroux definitely showed how to manage one’s career - it is not sufficient to be a high performer at one’s job!
Income and Capital Appreciation Fund is Not duplicative of PRWCX.
"Investment Objective(s)
The fund seeks total return through a combination of income and capital appreciation."
No joke!
Why do they need this fund when they have PRWCX, an allocation fund, with flexible mandate?
I too have been thinking about opening an IBKR account and had wanted to ask for forum members experience with IBKR. I can move my stock account there if mutual fund access is an issue. But would like to know about IBKR customer service and how m…
F-bomb is towards the beginning of his speech (7:54 min mark in the above video) when he was ushered away as a precaution from the protesters. I think he said "Close the Fucking door," directed more towards the organizers (rather than the climate p…
If anyone wishes to geekout the entire panel discussion from today's IMF Research Conference where Powel spoke -
Do not overlook Gita's prepared remarks, especially cautioning against taking the foot off the brakes too soon.
What does TGN stand for?
I guess I need to read Prof.’s piece.
I re-ran Yogi’s PV test using PRWCX as bench mark and the results were as expected, except that I was surprised by the low total for HY - the effect of compounding over 30 yrs?

Why does not MFO allow one to delete one's post, rather than forcing one to replace it with whatever. Obviously, this is not my highest wish but still a nice to have feature.
In case, markets stop behaving -
Powell speaks again next Wednesday & Thursday but other members of the Federal Reserve Board speak before then, starting tomorrow.

@hank, if I recall correctly, he used the phrase “risks appear to be balanced.” That is risks from doing too much or not enough. That is slightly more dovish from last presser and follow up media appearances where they emphasized risk management.
…
Guessing - YBB notes are from Powell presser?
Did Powell also say that current monetary policy and financial conditions are restrictive but may or may not be sufficiently restrictive to achieve the dual mandate but overall appear to be in balance. …
M* indicates this fund (PHEFX) has been around for four months and has gathered $2.3B AUM in the first three months. ER is 0.58% (JHQAX ER 0.83%).
Why does the OP say the fund will be available on Nov 8?
So, I shouldn't have added the AUMs from Fido (I thought I was simplifying things). Here are those as separate:
PEOPX, ER 50 bps
2021 $2.57 billion
2022 $1.87 billion
2023 $1.99 billion
DSPIX, ER 21 bps
2021 $3.20 billion
2022 $2.04 billion
2023 $…

Anyone has a back channel to GMO to check an ETA on this ETF?
David_Snowball?
Too late? I took it at 63 and do not regret it. Made my life easier and better, combined with a few other decisions.
How were you able to take Medicare at 63, I am given to understand you get to take at age 65?
I seem to have lost track of this th…
@Baseball_Fan,
I did not get to read this long thread.
My recollection from my last research on the topic is Avoid HealthEquity and Fidelity is decent.

@BaluBalu- This question has risen several times over the years. If I understand the situation correctly, the software platform used here does not support that option.

@David_Snowball,
Thanks for the post. Any reason you did not want to post this as an update to your Oct 12 thread OP?
Also, have you looked into CRDBX, another tactical fund shop? Would love to get your thoughts on this shop and the fund. Int…
If this is a retail product, one never thinks about having to trigger gains from owning an S&P 500 fund. This could suck for the owners. I am surprised TRP is willing to take a risk of coming across as insensitive to investors by not pursuing …
All three OEFs mentioned in the OP are likely in a lot of 401(k) plans. Assuming that is true, contributing factors to net inflows could be -

May be wrong question to ask but why are you guys trying to improve the fund’s processes, rather than find another fund? Why is this fund so irreplaceable?
