That's not accurate, Charles. I hold AF shares at EJ. There is no wrap fee. My sole fee is the ER which is second smallest in the mutual fund industry. EJ (including my advisor) is paid from the 12b1 (.25) which is included in the ER.

The R class is for 401k plans. The F2 is only available through advisors charging a wrap fee. A shares are your best bet but would be a waste at fidelity as you are paying a 12b1 fee which goes to an FA. I hold A shares through EJ.
Many retirees draw from IRAs, etc, which are taxed as regular income. Also 94k might be ok in SoCal if you owned your home outright. Otherwise it would be very tight.
