Thank you sma3! We are spending this summer in northwest again. I have no quiet place I can be before noon eastern (9 am here). Library opens at 9am! I've set up a session for Friday, 2 pm eastern ... posted on board. But, if that does not work, just call me at 805 468 9599 ... if I can pick up I will. Hopefully, can pick a day where you can attended from noon on. Very happy to do! c
@Mark. I'd say every one of them should be seriously considered ... to the extent any fit your risk tolerance and investment horizon ... and, ultimately, your portfolio composition.
Yes, thank you! Corrected now. Caught most of them on both MFO Premium site and our main site, but this one slipped through. Love you guys.
Here's link too to price increase announcement:

This month Vanguard has 25 funds on our Honor Roll and none on our Three Alarm list, which I find extraordinary.
American Funds has 8 funds on our Three Alarm list and none on our Honor Roll.
You can read more here about the monthly update.
I remain a Meb fan. He's helped shape the ETF landscape these past 10 years. His seminal paper on trend following, entitled A Quantitative Approach to Tactical Asset Allocation, remains the most downloaded paper on SSRN. His straight-forward books, …
And, speaking for myself at least, the belief that as we continue to improve the Premium site, more folks will subscribe.

@davidrmoran. Thank you! "... if it ever adds $10k cagr graphing over easily adjustable time periods ..." Adding holdings data is next big improvement planned, then after that plotting!
@Sven. Thank you! Can't tell you how many times page/styling works in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, but not in Safari ... always a litmus test of the robustness of a site. I will add recovery time to the real-time calcs in Portfolio, as well as MAXDD Date …
I believe negative rates on treasury bills would represent another form of federal tax. Basically, a tax on principal. It would also be like an er (expense ratio, fee) like mutual funds charge, even when holding cash.
Hi Ben.
Sorry for any hassle.
Please use the Refine button above the Results table to update/edit existing Portfolios or add new ones. It is effectively the "go back" button.
Yes, the Results table shows up on same page, but you can open as many …
AlphaCentric's record as an advisor is pretty awful. IOFIX is only fund with any kind of AUM. Catalyst's record is not much better (though MBXIX is interesting). Both families are associated with Jerry Szilagyi. I honestly wish Garrison Point could …
Thanks MikeW. It's a Junkster term. The idea would be to screen for funds over say the past 3, 6, 10, or 12 months that have: 1) no drawdown, 2) low volatility, 3) high dividend, and 4) positive excess return. Something like that. IOFIX behaves that…
@MikeW. I've been pretty much all-in with IOFIX, so nothing more to add really. (Hmmm ... unless I use margin.) As such, I watch it pretty closely ... and the folks at Garrison politely answer my inquires when the fund dips (eg., "Charles, the 5 pen…
Thanks MikeW and Junkster. Steady as she goes. I do think very highly of Tom Miner, the fund's principal. He's supported well by rest of staff at Garrison Point. I see the AUM has grown to $3B. (So much for closing soon.) I hope to visit them again …
