Thank you sma3! We are spending this summer in northwest again. I have no quiet place I can be before noon eastern (9 am here). Library opens at 9am! I've set up a session for Friday, 2 pm eastern ... posted on board. But, if that does not work, just call me at 805 468 9599 ... if I can pick up I will. Hopefully, can pick a day where you can attended from noon on. Very happy to do! c
Sir. I have been thinking same thing. Been watching it off and on since you mentioned it last March. Will let you know if/when I pull trigger. Thanks man, c
@Maurice.
Every single seat at Kresge filled. Line to get in wrapped out the door and around past the student center toward track field. Huge.

This mean I can drop my subscription to M* Premium?

Will Schwab cut its own an…

Select long/short category then sort on risk, which will give you list of less volatile funds.
Is "everyone trying to time the market"?
Really?
No economic news.
"Just earnings..."
Ha!
Good grief.
We're doomed.
Break, break.
Futures appear up...that would be nice way to start new week. Hopefully, enjoy more moderate volatility.
I used to have a boss that felt you either had integrity or not. There were not degrees of integrity, he would explain.
I'm not so sure.
I've come to seek managers and fund houses that disclose failures as well as successes.

Yes.
This was day I expected after AA reported!
Which rebounded today nicely, up nearly 7%.
Would be nice to see some stability next week...steadily up.

@Vert.
It's because of the way they handled ICMYX.
They merged it into ICMUX this past January and touted the reduction in fee.
ICMUX, which only dates back about 4 years, is a Great Owl Fund.
Top quintile performer. Max drawdown only -1.4% (Sep…
Sorry. Intrepid has an integrity issue that they just want to sweep under the rug. Before this fund family is taken seriously, it needs to be acknowledged, disclosed, discussed.
Honestly, do you know how long it's been since equities have been worth their volatility?
A lot longer than most financial writers and talking heads choose to recognize.
Drives me crazy.
Take yesterday (no on second thought, don't...)
BAC reports 0.01 per share loss after 0.43 per share DoJ settlement.
Eventually, that 0.43 expense will disappear, putting BAC in position to earn $1.68 per share per year profit. Which translates to…
